Guatemala Government Reveals Discovery of Coca Plantations and Labs

Guatemala Interior Minister Enrique Degenhart revealed to the public that three narco-laboratories involved in cocaine were discovered. The Guatemalan government now considers the country a cocaine producer versus a pass-through country. The coca crop was nearly exclusively cultivated in Colombia, Peru, and Bolivia. The Bank of Guatemala (Banco de Guatemala) is the central bank of Guatemala.
