Insurance Company Chubb Buys Two Chilean Insurance Companies

On September 14, 2019, Chubb International Holdings Ltd. Agencia en Chile acquired two Chilean insurance companies – Banchile Seguros de Vida S.A. and Segchile Seguros Generales S.A., from a subsidiary of Quiñenco S.A. and other minority investors.
Chubb International Holdings Ltd. Agencia en Chile is part of Chubb Limited, which is a publicly traded property and casualty insurance company. Quiñeco is one of the largest and most diversified business conglomerates in Chile.
