Tokyo Century Corporation Buys Stake in Advantage Partners Japanese PE Unit

Advantage Partners (HK) Limited is the parent company of Japanese private equity firm Advantage Partners Group (AP Group). Advantage Partners inked a deal to sell a 14.9% stake in its Japan unit Advantage Partners Group to Tokyo Century Corporation.
Tokyo Century has been a limited partner in the Advantage Partners Group’s funds.
Per deal terms, Tokyo Century Corporation will acquire new and existing shares in the general partner of Advantage Partners Group and take a board seat. Advantage Partners Group will remain under majority control of Advantage Partners (HK) Limited.
