Temasek and its Related Entities Close on ABC World Asia Fund

ABC World Asia is a fund launched by Singapore’s Temasek Holdings that will focus on impact investing in Asia. ABC World Asia raised S$ 385 million at its close and received capital from investors such as Temasek Holdings, Mapletree Investments, Seatown Holdings, Semcorp Industries Limited, Pavilion Capital, and Temasek Trust. Temasek Trust is managing the impact fund, which was launched in May 2019.
Mapletree Investments, Seatown Holdings, and Pavilion Capital are wholly-owned by Temasek Holdings. The fund will invest in startups mostly in China, Southeast Asia, and India. The fund will invest in companies involved in climate and water solutions, sustainable food and agriculture, healthcare, financial technology, and smart and liveable cities. David Heng is the CEO of ABC World Asia.
