Jho Low Near Civil Settlement with DOJ on 1MDB Misappropriation

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is near reaching a civil-forfeiture settlement with fugitive Malaysian financier Jho Low (Low Taek Jho) to recover nearly US$ 1 billion that was plundered from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB). Low faces charges in both Malaysia and the United States.
