Temasek and Advent International Seek to Sell Block Share in Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals

Private equity firm Advent International and Singapore’s Temasek Holdings, through MacRitchie Investments Pte Ltd, are in talks to sell up to US$ 185 million worth of shares in Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. Together, the sellers own a 34.36% stake in Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals and plan to lower that amount to around 26% ownership. Advent and Temasek have set a floor price of Rs 240 per share.

Citigroup is organizing the block share sale.
