KAUST Innovation Fund and Wa’ed Ventures Invests in Sadeem

Sadeem is a wireless environmental sensing systems startup that was spun out from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Sadeem raised US$ 2.6 million from the KAUST Innovation Fund and Saudi Aramco’s Wa’ed Ventures fund. The Innovation Fund is the venture capital arm of KAUST, targeting startups and early-stage companies. Wa’ed Ventures is a venture capital unit of Saudi Aramco tasked to promote economic development in Saudi Arabia.
