QianDama Raises Series D Round

Guangzhou-based QianDama is a Chinese wholesale retailer of fresh produce such as fruits, vegetables, meat, cooked food, and seafood. On December 26, 2019, QianDama raised roughly 1 billion RMB in a Series D round from existing investors Genbridge Capital, and other investors such as Co-stone Capital, JG Investments, a private equity firm backed by JD.com, Immensus Capital, Lighthouse Capital, and Taikang Asset Management Co Ltd. (part of Taikang Insurance Group). Singapore’s GIC Private Limited and the International Finance Corporation are limited partners in Genbridge Capital’s GenBridge Capital Fund I.

QianDama was formed in 2012 and raised a Series A in 2015 from HeJun Capital. In 2017, the company raised a Series A+ round from Genbridge Capital, JD.com, HeJun Capital, and Ruisheng Capital.
