DWS Group Buys Stake in Arabesque AI

On January 8, 2020, DWS Group purchased a 24.9% minority ownership interest in Arabesque AI, the machine learning unit of Arabesque. Founded in 2013 by Omar Selim, Arabesque is a global asset management firm. In 2019, DWS Group bought a stake in Arabesque S-Ray GmbH.
Omar Selim ran the values based asset management project at Barclays.
