INTERFAX: Russian SWF Could Lend Capital to Arctic Palladium Project

According to the Interfax news agency, the Russian government is contemplating tapping its National Wealth Fund to loan US$ 1 billion to mining giant Norilsk Nickel for its Arctic Palladium project. The Arctic Palladium project is Nornickel’s joint venture with Russian businessman Musa Y. Bazhaev, who runs Russian Platinum LLC.
