Norway’s Kommunal Landspensjonskasse and DNB Form Debt Financing Pact for Renewable Energy

Norway’s Kommunal Landspensjonskasse (KLP) and banking group DNB ASA inked an agreement to form a partnership to provide debt financing for wind farms, hydropower plants, and solar energy both in Norway and overseas. The investment pact is worth 12 billion NOK and plans to be deployed over the next two years.

Of the planned amount, KLP will put up around 6 billion NOK.

At the moment, KLP has 30 billion NOK invested in climate-friendly assets.
