Tufts Endowment Chief Investment Officer Sally Dungan Dies

Sally M. Dungan has been Chief Investment Officer of Tufts University since 2002. She was the first and only CIO for the endowment. Dungan died of cancer on April 12, 2020.

Before signing on to Tufts, Dungan was the director of pension fund management of the U.S. subsidiary for Siemens Corporation from 2000 to 2002. and the senior investment officer of public markets of the Pension Reserves Investment Management Board of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (MassPRIM) from 1995 to 2000. Dungan held a M.A. in Intercultural Communication from Monterey Institute of International Studies.
