Saudi Aramco Invests in Wahed Invest

New York-based Wahed Invest (Wahed Inc.) was founded by Junaid Wahedna in 2015. Wahed Invest is a robo-advisor aimed toward Muslim investors with a Sharia-compliant platform. In June 2020, the company raised US$ 25 million from Saudi Aramco, BECO Capital, and Cue Ball Group.
In March 2018, a mobile app was launched to manage halal investments.
Before founding Wahed, Junaid Wahedna worked as a financial analyst at M Capital Group.
