Carlyle and Oak Hill Contribute Business Investments to Form Galway Insurance Holdings

Oak Hill Capital Partners and The Carlyle Group disclosed the creation of a new holding company called Galway Insurance Holdings. Oak Hill Capital contributed EPIC Brokers and Consultants into Galway Insurance Holdings. Carlyle Group is primed to contribute Specialty Distribution aggregator JenCap Holdings, LLC, a portfolio company of Carlyle Global Financial Services Partners II. JenCap Holdings and EPIC Brokers will continue to operate as independent units, at least in the interim.
Galways Insurance Holdings will act as a new brokerage distribution and underwriting platform.
