Khazanah Nasional Exits Out of Aemulus Holdings

Malaysia’s Khazanah Nasional Berhad sold its remaining 5.33% stake, or 29.3 million shares, in Aemulus Holdings Berhad. Khazanah held the shares in its unit Bombalai Hill Ventures Sdn Bhd. In December 2019, Khazanah started selling off its stake in Aemulus.

Aemulus Holdings is a semiconductor testing firm.

Khazanah Nasional first acquired a 15% stake in Aemulus in September 2015.

China

In April 2020, Aemulus disclosed its wholly-owned unit Aemulus Corporation Sdn Bhd had entered into a joint venture agreement with Tangren Microtelligence Co Ltd to monetize the intellectual property rights of its radio frequency tester. The joint venture was split 60% owned by Tangren Microtelligence and 40% owned by Aemulus Corporation. Aemulus Corporation is investing 6.67 million MYR in the joint venture, while Tangren Microtelligence is investing 10 million MYR in it.
