Wasatch Global Investors Continues to Make Inroads in APAC Region

Money manager Wasatch Global Investors has announced the appointment of Amelia Kennedy to the firm’s institutional business development team. Kennedy is the former Head of Research & Governance at ANZ Private Banking & Advice. Wasatch appointed Kennedy to a newly created role to lead distribution in the Asia-Pacific region and will be responsible for managing relationships with institutional clients and consultants. Wasatch Global Investors is a 100% employee-owned investment manager founded in 1975 and headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Eric Bergeson, President of Wasatch Global Investors, commented on her appointment in a press release, “Amelia’s experience and knowledge of the Australian market for investment services will be crucial for Wasatch’s growth in the strategically important Asia-Pacific region. She will build on Wasatch’s successful platform in Australia, which has been due to the immense efforts of our longstanding distribution partner, Terrain Placement Services. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Terrain.”

Wasatch has significantly increased its global client base and distribution footprint in recent years, most notably in the Asia-Pacific region, with A$ 788 million in assets managed for Australian clients.
