Spain and France Struggle with COVID-19 Cases

Spain’s Health Ministry disclosed that the country had a total of 525,549 cases of the Wuhan coronavirus cases, up 498,989 from the previous week’s Friday. Spain is experiencing a second wave of infections that coincides with the country reopening schools. Spain is the first Western European country to report 500,000 coronavirus infections. However, the overall mortality rate in Spain is around 6%, which is lower than the United Kingdom, Italy, and France. Spain posted 29,516 coronavirus deaths in recent tallies.

The France’s Health Ministry tallied 328,980 cases of coronavirus, while deaths related to the virus stood at 30,726.
