Temasek is a Cornerstone Investor in Water Tech Fund

Zurich-based Emerald Technology Ventures AG closed a US$ 100 million water investment fund. Singapore’s Temasek Holdings is a cornerstone investor in the fund. Other strategic investors in the fund include Ecolab, Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Climate Innovation Fund), and SKion Water GmbH. The fund plans to target early-stage and expansion-stage companies.
Helge Daebel has been responsible for the water sector with Emerald Technology Ventures since 2006. Prior to joining Emerald, Helge Daebel conducted research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (eawag) in the Environmental Engineering Division.
