BOJ KURODA: No Need to Change its Inflation Target or Forward Guidance

Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda disclosed his position that the country’s central bank does not need to change its inflation target or forward guidance.
“We have no intention to change our inflation targeting policy and forward guidance,” Haruhiko Kuroda said in an online International Banking Seminar of the Group of 30.

The Bank of Japan does not seem concerned that a single digital currency will dominate global transactions. Central banks have spent significant time and resources studying digital currencies.
