PrimaryBid Raises Series B Round

PrimaryBid Limited, is a U.K. company that allows retail investors that chance to invest in new shares issued by public companies. Headed by its CEO Anand Sambasivan, the London-based company recently raised US$ 50 million of funding in a Series B round from the London Stock Exchange Group, Draper Esprit, OMERS Ventures, Fidelity International Strategic Ventures and ABN AMRO Ventures, as well as previous backers Pentech and Outward Ventures. OMERS Ventures is the venture unit of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System.
At March 31, 2019 fiscal year, PrimaryBid generated sales of 979,145 GBP versus sales of 1,672,017 in March 31, 2018 fiscal year, according to company filings.
