Carlyle and Goode Partners Sells Trendy Brand Supreme to VF Corporation

VF Corporation is an American worldwide apparel and footwear company founded in 1899 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado. VF Corporation signed a deal to acquire Colorado-based streetwear fashion label Supreme for US$ 2.1 billion from private equity firms Carlyle Group and Goode Partners. Supreme was founded in 1994 in New York. Supreme founder James Jebbia will keep creative control.

VF Corporation owns brands such as The North Face and Vans. In 2011, VF Corporation bought Timberland.
