Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS) signed a deal to acquire TrueCommerce, Inc. from Accel-KKR. TrueCommerce is engaged in software services in the supply chain realm. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is the electronic interchange of business information using a standardized format.

Roll ups
On May 13, 2019, TrueCommerce acquired San Diego-based ecUtopia, a cloud-based supply chain collaboration and visibility platform powered by EDI and B2B E-Commerce methodologies. In September 2020, TrueCommerce acquired Datalliance, a provider of technology and services to support collaborative replenishment programs such as vendor managed inventory and related business needs.
