Tink Raises More Capital as its Open Banking Platform Grows to 3,400 Banks

Founded in 2012, Tink AB is a Swedish open banking platform. Tink, a fintech startup from Stockholm, raised €85 million at a €680 million post-money valuation. Eurazeo Growth and Dawn Capital co-led, and were joined by PayPal Ventures, HMI Capital, Heartcore, ABN AMRO Ventures, Poste Italiane, and BNP Paribas (through Opera Tech Ventures). Tink aggregates a number of banks and financial services by way of an API so that those can in turn be accessed via new channels. Tink already links up 3,400 banks, covering some 250 million people.
