Oman Government to Dissolve Holding Unit Oman Aviation Group

The Oman government disclosed the dissolving of Oman Aviation Group (OAG) with its assets and tasks to be redistributed among Oman Air and Oman Airports Management Company. The Oman Investment Authority (OIA) decided to dissolve both the Oman Aviation Group and TRANSOM and to bring about structures before Oman Aviation Group was incorporated in 2018.
Oman Aviation Group was formed in 2018 by the Omani Ministry of Transport and Communications. Oman Aviation Group oversaw the Omani Aviation Services Company later rebranded as TRANSOM.
