La Financière de l’Echiquier Rides ESG Wave and Wins Big

Institutional investors are allocating more toward ESG and other sustainable product offerings. Asset manager La Financière de l’Échiquier (LFDE) witnessed record net inflows of 1.7 billion euros in 2020, which confirms its ramp-up in Europe and with institutional clients. This figure far exceeds the inflows for 2007, which was a strong year for the company. Assets under management of LFDE now amount to 12.2 billion euros compared to 9.5 billion euros at December 31, 2019, a major increase of 28% in a year.
LFDE saw strong gains in AUM in SRI, small and midcap strategies, as well as thematic strategies.
