Blackstone Real Estate Income Fund Goes Negative for 2020

According to a Blackstone investment summary, the Blackstone Real Estate Income Fund (BREIF) posted a loss -20.06% for the 2020 time period (YTD until November 30, 2020). November 30, 2020 allocation figures included 33.2% allocated to hospitality, 27.7% allocated to multifamily and single family rental, 12.6% to office, 11.2% to retail, and the rest is other. BREIF Fund Complex AUM was US$ 603,000,000 as of November 30, 2020. This AUM figure includes the net asset value of BREIF and Blackstone Real Estate Income Fund II. The fund manager is Blackstone Real Estate Income Advisors L.L.C.

The worst month for BREIF was March 2020, which the fund lost 24.67%.
