Amundi CEO Yves Perrier to Step Down, Clearing Way for Valerie Baudson

Amundi SA Chief Executive Officer Yves Perrier, age 67, is stepping down as CEO. He will become Chairman of Amundi. Perrier has been CEO of Amundi since the 2010 merger of the asset management units of Credit Agricole SA and Societe Generale SA. Amundi had its initial public offering in 2015. At the end of 2020, Amundi totaled 1.729 trillion euros in assets under management. Recently, Amundi acquired Sabadell Asset Management.

Taking over the CEO role is Valerie Baudson, who will succeed him on May 10, 2021. Valerie Baudson is currently leading Amundi’s exchange-traded fund business as well as its thematic investing unit.
