ADQ Signs Merger Deal on Healthcare Support Service Units

Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ) signed an agreement to merge its healthcare support service entities Rafed and Union71 with laboratory operator Pure Health LLC. Rafed and Union71 will lie under Dubai-based Pure Health. Under the terms of the agreement, ADQ will transfer its ownership to Pure Health and receive a stake in the new healthcare services provider.
Rafed was launched by ADQ in September 2020 as a new group purchasing organization to manage and develop the procurement of healthcare-related products and services.
In September 2020, Union71 was launched as a new lab testing company for healthcare providers in the United Arab Emirates. Rafed and Union71 prepare to grow beyond servicing Abu Dhabi Health Services Company.
Pure Health is the largest laboratory operator in the GCC. Farhan Malik is the CEO of Pure Health.
