Search Engine Startup Neeva Has its Sights on Google

Neeva Inc is a search engine startup led by former Google Ads boss Sridhar Ramaswamy. Like DuckDuckGo, Neeva wants to take on Google in online search. Neeva raised US$ 40 million in Series B funding co-led by Sequoia Capital and Greylock.
Neeva is currently in beta with several thousand users. Neeva plans to be ad-free, or at least at first.
Google raised US$ 35 million in venture funding before going public in 2004, including from Sequoia Capital.
Neeva also put out a digital bill of rights, which includes policies toward privacy online, reasonable data collection, data ownership, and knowing how personal data is being used.
