1. Partly due to Federal Reserve QE, U.S. household net worth rose to US$ 6.93 trillion in the fourth quarter of 2020 – a record.
2. Danish Health Authority says the usage of the Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine is halted due to serious cases of blood clots. Norwegian Institute of Public Health moved to suspend Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine rollout. Italy’s Medicines Authority said it will ban the use of a batch of Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine after notifications of some serious adverse effects.
3. New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio and 59 Democrat party lawmakers are officially calling for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign over a pile of sexual harassments allegations and the nursing home COVID scandal in NY.
4. In 2011, solar was just 1.6% of California’s electricity mix. In 2020, the ratio moved to 26.4%.
