1. Billionaire hedge fund investor Bill Ackman said he donated his entire stake in Coupang, worth more than US$ 1 billion, to charity following the South Korean e-commerce company’s IPO last week. Ackman runs the Pershing Square Capital Management. Ackman invested his personal money in Coupang.

2. Tesla, Inc. has officially given CEO Elon Musk the title of “Technoking of Tesla” in a new regulatory filing. Musk will retain his position as chief executive officer, Tesla said. Zach Kirkhorn, the company’s chief financial officer, has also been given a new title: “Master of Coin.”

3. In a recent TV interview, White House Council of Economic Advisers Chair Rouse says there is a small risk of inflation after the COVID relief plan, but will be watching.

4. Chief Medical Adviser to the U.S. President, Anthony Fauci, in a recent TV interview says that it’s inevitable we’ll have more pandemics in the future because of “climate change”.

6. Angela Merkel’s CDU falls to historic low in two German state votes.

7. Sticking to tradition and biblical text, a Vatican statement says the Catholic Church won’t bless same-sex unions, calling homosexuality a “sin” and a “choice.” Pope Francis, who has frequently been praised for his welcoming tone towards LGBTQ people, approved the note. This is not a new stance.
