QIC Global Real Estate Sells Two Aussie Malls

QIC Global Real Estate sold its Robina Home + Life homemaker centre on the Gold Coast for A$66 million to ASX-listed fund manager Primewest. The 14,782 square meter mall is located in the QIC-owned Robina Town Centre. The property is anchored by The Good Guys and Nick Scali.

Watergardens Homeplace

On March 2, 2021, QIC sold its Watergardens Homeplace retail centre in Melbourne for A$ 97 million to Harvey Norman. Colliers International brokered the deal for QIC. The center is a corner site at the junction of Melton Highway and Kings Road which benefits from approximately 36,000 passing vehicles each day. Bunnings Warehouse and Harvey Norman are the anchor tenants.

Watergardens Town Centre is a super regional shopping center located in Taylors Lakes, 24 kilometers north-west of Melbourne, Victoria. The site was purchased by the Queensland Investment Corporation (now QIC) in February 1995, with construction commencing in October 1996.
