CRED Raises Series D Round

Bangalore-based CRED is a bill payment and rewards platform. CRED raised US$ 215 million in Series D funding at a US$ 2.2 billion post-money valuation. Falcon Edge Capital and insider Coatue Management co-led the investment round. They were joined by Insight Partners and return backers DST Global, RTP Global, Tiger Global, Greenoaks Capital, Dragoneer Investment Group, and Sofina.
CRED operates an app that rewards customers for paying their credit card bills on time.
