Asian Capital Helps Cityneon Holdings Raise More Money

Cityneon Holdings raised S$ 235 million in a private round. Qatar-based Doha Venture Capital participated in the investment round. Existing investors such as Temasek Holdings’s Pavilion Capital and EDBI, as well as Ron Tan, Cityneon’s executive chairman and Group CEO, participated as well. New investor Seatown Holdings International (part of Temasek) participated in the raise, along with some financial institutions and family offices in Singapore and China.

Cityneon recently signed its fifth intellectual property rights with Avatar from 20th Century Studios in 2020.

In May 2019, Cityneon welcomed CITIC Capital as a new shareholder, who holds approximately 10% shares in Cityneon. CITIC Capital is part of CITIC Group.
