Ether Reaches $3,000 Milestone

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin became a billionaire as the price of Ether (ETH) reached US$ 3,000. Buterin’s public Ether address, which he described as his main wallet back in 2018, has hit US$ 1 billion on its balance. Ether remains a popular alternative cryptocurrency to bitcoin (BTC). Recently, bitcoin climbed above US$ 58,000.
Bitcoin accounts for around 46% of the total cryptocurrency market, according to tracker CoinGecko.
On another note, eBay Inc.’s CEO is looking at payment options that would include cryptocurrencies.
