AustralianSuper Explores Merger with Club Plus Super

Increasingly larger Australian superannuation funds are merging, trying to achieve economies of scale. AustralianSuper is exporing the benefits of merging with Sydney-based Club Plus Super. There are no timelines for coming to a conclusion. According to Club Plus Super, the two firms had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) after identifying AustralianSuper as having “strategic, cultural and operational alignment” to provide the best outcomes for members.
