Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust Buys HP Japan HQ Building

Singapore-listed Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust (MNACT) acquired a 98.47% interest in an office building located at 2- 1, Ojima 2-chome, Koto-ku, Tokyo known as “Hewlett-Packard Japan Headquarters”. The remaining stake will be owned by Mapletree Investments Japan KK, a wholly owned local subsidiary of the trust’s sponsor, Temasek Holdings–backed Mapletree Investments. The building was completed in 2011 and has a gross floor area of 42,496 square meters.
The price was 38.8 billion Japanese yen.
