Olive Rock Partners and Cerberus Capital Invest in UEMedical

Abu Dhabi-based Olive Rock Partners is an independent private equity firm. Olive Rock focuses on strategically and tactically capitalizing on the evolving investment landscape in the Middle East, primarily in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Olive Rock was founded in 2020 by Muhannad Qubbaj and Abdullah Shahin, both of whom are former partners at Gulf Capital.
An affiliate of New York-based alternative asset firm Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. and Olive Rock Partners acquired a stake in healthcare company United Eastern Medical Services LLC (UEMedical). UEMedical was founded in 2008 and has 21 hospitals and health centers. UEMedical operates Danat Al Emarat Hospital, among other healthcare properties.
Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners became an anchor investor in Olive Rock in March 2021.
