We’ve passed immediately on >95%
If we can’t see any reason from the initial materials to believe someone could generate among the best long term sustainable track records of their generation, we pass
2/ so you should know what you’re getting yourself into when you reach out! Some of these emails have been introductions to wonderful new firms. But by definition most stuff is in the 0 to 95th %ile where we don’t play
3/ it may seem crazy to define the bar that way. What can we say, we’ve absorbed MIT’s lofty bar for impact and quality. And our current portfolio is wonderful and hard to beat.
