Kuwait Ports Authority Approves EV City Project

Kuwait Ports Authority (KPA) is a public sector body run on a commercial basis under the authority of the Ministry of Communications. Kuwait Ports Authority approved a proposal to build the Middle East’s first city to serve electric vehicle manufacturers. No official location was released. The project is called EV City. The design and construction tendering process will be during the 2021-2022 fiscal year. The development is in line with Kuwait’s Vision 2035 economic diversification plan.
