Space Perspectives Raises Series A Round

Space Perspectives is a Florida, Cape Canaveral-based luxury spaceflight experience company, otherwise known as a human space balloon company. Instead of being blasted by rockets to exit the Earth’s atmosphere, Space Perspectives seeks to let travelers fly in a balloon the size of a football stadium to gently go 20 miles above Earth. Space Perspectives raised US$ 40 million in Series A funding. Prime Movers Lab led, and was joined by LightShed Ventures, the Explorer 1 Fund, Yamauchi No.10 Family Office (Nintendo origins), motivational speaker Tony Robbins, E2MC, SpaceFund, Kirenaga Partners, Base Ventures, and 1517 Fund.
