Financiere Agache and Tikehau Apply for Asian SPAC

European asset manager Tikehau Capital SAS, which touts Temasek Holdings as a shareholder, applied to list a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) on the Singapore Exchange. The SPAC is sponsored by Tikehau Capital and Financiere Agache, a holding company of LVMH luxury goods honcho Bernard Arnault. Financiere Agache and Tikehau Capital’s founders and investment teams have already collaborated on several deals across various strategies and sectors. An affiliate of Financiere Agache has been a shareholder of Tikehau Capital for the last 15 years.
SGX became the first Asian bourse to allow SPAC listings. SPACs are known as blank check companies.
Tikehau Capital is listed in compartment A of the regulated Euronext Paris market.
