1. FALL FROM GRACE. New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is campaigning for New York governor for November 2022, charged the ousted former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo with forcible touching, a sexual crime and misdemeanor. The charges were filed on Thursday in Albany City Court. The allegations are linked to Brittany Commisso, a former aide who claimed Andrew Cuomo groped her breast in the office of the Executive Mansion in Albany in November 2020. Cuomo was gaining fame from the press during the COVID-19 pandemic (some celebrities referred to themselves as cuomosexuals), even though there were issues on sending COVID people to New York nursing homes.

Cuomo has denied the charges. If convicted, Andrew Cuomo could face up to one year in prison.
