Genstar Capital to Acquire ACA Group

Private equity firm Genstar Capital agreed to buy ACA Group, a New York-based regulatory compliance consultancy, from Starr Investment Holdings, LLC and Ardian. Genstar Capital owns Foreside Financial Group, LLC, which will take over a controlling interest in ACA. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2022. Foreside Financial Group was established in 2005 and based in Portland, Maine.
Genstar Capital acquired Foreside Financial Group in July 2021 from Lovell Minnick Partners.
