Club Plus Super Finalizes Merger with AustralianSuper

AustralianSuper completed its merger with Club Plus Super. The merger followed a rigorous due diligence process after the Club Plus Super board chose AustralianSuper as its preferred merger partner earlier this year. AustralianSuper will be welcoming almost 60,000 new members and transferring approximately A$3.2 billion in member assets.
AustralianSuper Group Executive for Membership & Brand Rose Kerlin said in a press release, “This is a great outcome for members of both funds as we welcome Club Plus Super members to
AustralianSuper.”
Since being established in 1987, Club Plus Super has a record of serving members, largely drawn from the hospitality and community clubs. Club Plus Super members have been transferred to AustralianSuper and will begin receiving communications from their new fund this month.
