Oman Investment Authority Takes a Stake in SpaceX

The Oman Investment Authority (OIA), is the main sovereign wealth fund of Oman, which used to be known as the State General Reserve Fund. The OIA took an equity stake in SpaceX. OIA did not disclose the size of its equity investment in SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.). Elon Musk is the CEO of SpaceX.
Space Communications Technology LLC (SCT) is a sovereign wealth enterprise (SWE) of the OIA. SCT is mandated to create and implement Oman’s first satellite communications project. SCT is building national satellite communications infrastructure.
