Public Funds Join in Eikon Therapeutics’ Series B Round

Hayward, California-based Eikon Therapeutics is a live-cell microscopy startup. Eikon Therapeutics raised US$ 518 million in Series B funding from T. Rowe Price Group, CPP Investments, EcoR1 Capital, UC California Investment Office, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), StepStone Group, Soros Fund Management, LLC, Schroders Capital, General Catalyst Partners, Harel Insurance, Hartford Healthcare Endowment, LLC, and AME Cloud Ventures. Return backers include The Column Group, Foresite Capital, Innovation Endeavors, Lux Capital, and Horizons Ventures.

AME Cloud Ventures is the venture fund led by Jerry Yang, co-founder of Yahoo!

Eikon Therapeutics seeks to use super-resolution fluorescence microscopy and the data collected by these microscopes to create new drugs.

Eikon Therapeutics raised US$ 148 million in a Series A round in May 2021.
