BlackRock Reaches $10 Trillion in Assets Under Management

BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE: BLK) reached US$ 10.01 trillion in assets under management at December 31, 2021. US$ 540 billion of 2021 full year total net inflows, reflects 6% organic asset growth and 11% organic base fee growth, led by record flows in ETFs and active strategies. Of that amount US$ 306 billion came from ETFs, US$ 102 billion from retail investor flow and US$ 51 billion from institutional investors.
Institutional Investors
BlackRock’s institutional investor alternatives business oversaw US$ 146.384 billion in 2021 vs. US$ 127.429 billion in 2020.
BlackRock’s institutional investor multi-asset business oversaw US$ 642.951 billion in 2021 vs. US$ 511.242 billion in 2020.
BlackRock’s technology services businesses, powered by Aladdin, delivered US$ 1.3 billion in revenue with annual contract value up 13% year over year.
