KKR’s Mirastar Buys 4 Dutch Logistic Assets

In April 2020, KKR acquired a strategic stake in Mirastar from M7. KKR declared that Mirastar would be its primary platform for industrial and logistics real estate transactions in Europe.

The Mirastar platform purchased a 45,000 square meter portfolio of four logistics assets in the Netherlands from three local Dutch developers. The four assets, located in Eindhoven and Wijchen, will be managed by Mirastar. The price tag for the portfolio was €70.5 million. The three local Dutch developers are Van Schijndel Vastgoed V, Ontwikkelcombinatie Bijsterhuizen, and Bouwbedrijf Vastgoed.

The deal was revealed on January 10, 2022.

Carlyle
Later in January 2022, Carlyle Group, through its Carlyle Europe Realty, purchased eight distribution logistics assets in Germany which total 62,000 square meters. The firm acquired two assets located close to Düsseldorf, two assets close to Munich, two assets in Bremen, and single assets in the Cologne and Stuttgart regions.
