Bloomberg Gets Caught on Publishing Fake News About Russia Invading Ukraine

In a serious matter, Bloomberg published fake news and then retracted. “Live: Russia invades Ukraine,” read a headline on Bloomberg’s homepage at around 4 p.m. ET It stayed up for about 30 minutes.
Bloomberg then wrote the following:

We prepare headlines for many scenarios and the headline “Russia Invades Ukraine” was inadvertently published around 4 p.m. ET today on our website. We deeply regret the error. The headline has been removed and we are investigating the cause.
